Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1½ cups warm water
- 3¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt, to taste

Directions
- Dissolve the yeast, sugar and water in the bowl of a strand mixer. Let the mixture sit for around 5 minutes to make sure the yeast is active. Mix the flour and salt in a suitable bowl, and add it to the water, along with the olive oil. Mix with the prepared dough hook until mixed.
- Knead the prepared dough until it is smooth. Transfer the prepared dough to an oiled bowl, cover and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in bulk.
- Place the Cook &
- Crisp Basket in your Pressure Cooker Steam Fryer.
- Divide the prepared dough into 8 portions and roll each portion into a circle about 4 inches in diameter. Don't roll the balls too thin, or you won't get the pocket inside the pita.
- Brush both sides of the prepared dough with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt if desired.
- Put on the Smart Lid on top of the Ninja Foodi Steam Fryer.
- Move the Lid Slider to the "Air Fry/Stovetop". Cook one at a time on "Air Fry" Mode at 200°C for 6 minutes.
- Flipping it over when there are two minutes left in the cooking time.
