Directions
- Place the beef short ribs in a large pot of boiling water for about 5 minutes. Drain and rinse them under cold water. This step helps remove excess fat and impurities.
- Transfer the blanched ribs to your SmartLid™.
- Add yellow onion, scallions, garlic, ginger and fish sauce to the ribs in the SmartLid™.
- Pour in 8 cups of water into the SmartLid™ to cover ingredients.
- Move slider to PRESSURE mode, close the SmartLid™ and PRESSURE COOK on Hi for 30 minutes.
- Release the pressure by turning the valve to VENT, open the SmartLid™ and you'll be greeted with a fragrant and flavourful Galbi-Tang, move slider to AIR FRY/HOB mode and select SAUTÉ function at Hi-5, and add the daikon, red dates and water chestnut. Cook for 10 minutes.
- Ladle beef short ribs, vegetables and soup into bowls, garnish with chopped scallions, thinly sliced egg omelette, and serve hot with cooked rice.
