- 55g instant grits
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 180m1 milk, whole or 2%
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 85g cream cheese, at room temperature 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 115g shredded mild Cheddar cheese 1 to 2 tablespoons oil

Directions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the grits, salt, and pepper. Stir in the milk, egg, cream cheese, and butter until blended. Stir in the Cheddar cheese.
- Spritz an air fryer—safe pan with oil. Insert a crisper plate in the zone 1 basket.
- Pour the grits mixture into the prepared pan and place it in the zone 1 basket, then insert the baskets in the unit.
- Turn the dial to select AIR FRY, set the temperature to 200°C, and set the time to 5 minutes. Press START/PAUSE to begin cooking.
- Stir the mixture and cook for 5 minutes more for soupy grits or 7 minutes more for firmer grits.
