In this recipe, I brought together all of the classic flavors of a classic carrot cake in a rich and creamy smoothie. Not only does this recipe sneak in fresh carrots, but you also get creamy protein-rich almond butter, warm cinnamon, and spicy ginger. Enjoy for breakfast-or dessert!

Ingredients

  • 2 frozen bananas, peeled and quartered
  • 2 carrots, washed, peeled, and cut into 1½-inch pieces
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • ½ cup vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 (1-inch) piece ginger, peeled and quartered

Directions

  1. Place the bananas, carrots, almond milk, yogurt, almond butter, cinnamon, and ginger into the blender pitcher in the order listed.
  2. Select EXTRACT.
