Carrot Cake Smoothie
Smoothies are not just a convenient way to eat more fruits and vegetables, but I have found that they are also a fun way to enjoy the flavors of your favorite desserts in a healthier way. In this recipe, I brought together all of the classic flavors of a classic carrot cake in a rich and creamy smoothie. Not only does this recipe sneak in fresh carrots, but you also get creamy protein-rich almond butter, warm cinnamon, and spicy ginger. Enjoy for breakfast-or dessert!

Ingredients
- 2 frozen bananas, peeled and quartered
- 2 carrots, washed, peeled, and cut into 1½-inch pieces
- 1 cup almond milk
- ½ cup vanilla Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 (1-inch) piece ginger, peeled and quartered

Directions
- Place the bananas, carrots, almond milk, yogurt, almond butter, cinnamon, and ginger into the blender pitcher in the order listed.
- Select EXTRACT.
- Pour into two glasses and enjoy.
