Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon 
  • extra virgin 
  • olive oil 
  • 1 teaspoon shawarma spice blend 
  • Ground black pepper, as desired 
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt 
  • 113g 
  • sirloin steak, cut in 1-inch chunks 
  • 1/2 small red bell pepper, seeded, cut in 1-inch pieces 
  • 1/2 small red onion, peeled, cut in 1-inch pieces 
  • For serving (optional): tzatziki sauce, pita bread

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, add oil, shawarma spice blend, pepper, salt, and mix to combine. Add beef, peppers, and onions to oil mixture, and toss to coat evenly. 
  2. Assemble skewers in 
  3. following 
  4. order (dividing ingredients evenly): beef, peppers, onions. 
  5. Place crisper plate in the Small Batch Container, then place skewers on top in a single layer. 
  6. Attach 
  7. CRISPi 
  8. PowerPod 
  9. to container, press MODE until AIR FRY illuminates, set time to 7 minutes, and press START to begin cooking. 
  10. When 3 minutes 
  11. remain 
  12. on the timer, remove 
  13. PowerPod 
  14. and use silicone-tipped tongs to gently flip skewers. Replace 
  15. PowerPod 
  16. and press START to resume cooking. 
  17. Cooking is complete when 
  18. internal 
  19. temperature of beef reaches at least 145°F on an instant-read thermometer. Add 
  20. additional 
  21. cooking time if needed. 
  22. When cooking is complete, serve 
  23. immediately 
  24. with tzatziki sauce and pita bread if desired.
