Ingredients

  • 1/4 sheet (56g) 
  • frozen puff pastry dough, thawed, rolled into 6 1/2-inch 
  • square 
  • and cut into 2 triangles 
  • 1/4 cup pre-made apple pie filling, divided 
  • 1 large egg, beaten 
  • 1 teaspoon coarse sugar, divided 
  • Glaze (optional): 
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon water 
  • Ninja CRISPi - FN101

Directions

  1. Lay out the 2 triangles of puff pastry dough on a clean work surface. Place 2 tablespoons apple pie filling in the center of each square. 
  2. Brush edges of squares with egg, then fold into triangles and use a fork to press down and seal the edges. 
  3. Brush tops of each pastry with egg, then sprinkle each with 1/2 teaspoon sugar. 
  4. Place crisper plate in the Small Batch Container, then place pastries on top. 
  5. Attach 
  6. CRISPi 
  7. PowerPod 
  8. to container, press MODE until 
  9. ROAST 
  10. illuminates, set time to 17 minutes, and press START to begin cooking. 
  11. When 5 minutes 
  12. remain 
  13. on the timer, remove 
  14. PowerPod 
  15. and use silicone-tipped tongs to gently flip pastries. Replace 
  16. PowerPod 
  17. and press START to resume cooking. 
  18. Prepare glaze by combining powdered sugar and water in a small bowl. Mix until combined and smooth, adding extra water 1/2 teaspoon at a time as needed. 
  19. When cooking is complete, drizzle with 
  20. glaze 
  21. and serve.
